Just over a year ago, I completed my third year university dissertation on a possible connnection between Arthur Ransome and the poet William Wordsworth. The link was based on certain similarities in the two authors, mainly their attitudes to children and their preoccupation with the Lake District as a setting for much of their work. A large amount of my study in this area was previously unresearched and I managed to uncover some fairly interesting facts and thoughts - my dissertation also proved reasonably successful. I would, however, like to take it further and as a result, I'm looking for anyone with any further information about a link between the two authors, or, indeed, to hear from anyone who is interested in this as a project.
