You have three choices with electronic fonts, but the first choice is whether you want to get into the business of having them, or whether you just want to find somebody who can get the job done for you. If the latter, then most people who commercially manufacture cardboard advertising posters and the like (the sort in store windows) now use computer technology to generate the masters, and special presses. I'd check with a few of them, and also one or two of the local printing establishments who are as far as possible into digital pre-press.

If you want to do this yourself, then you can either find free fonts on Compuserve, etc., or purchase fonts through Monotype, ITC, Fontbank, and so on nearly forever.

In any case, whether you do it yourself or find a local printer that can help you, start with ITC Chancery Italic. I can send you some examples if you like. Or you can check the library. There's probably a web site for ITC, Monotype, etc. Whether it will help in your search I'm not sure. Good luck!
