In case there is some confusion about the proposed Arthu Ransome Celebration I should clarify the location of the event. It will be in September at the Vancouver Public Library in Vancouver, British Columbia. The purpose of this event is to publicize the Society and to provide an opportunity for AR fans to meet and to discuss AR and the books. Also I hope that we can enlist members and perhaps make a contribution to the Nancy Blackett appeal. I will post the time and date of the meeting as soon as details have been finalized.
