Hello there TARS members!
We have relly enjoyed reading S&A books, and wanted to get a boat and learn to sail. Well now we have one. It is a little GULL sailing dinghy. It is blue with a gaff rig. We started sailing on Padarn lake, Llanberis, and now have been out to sea several times between Aberdesach and Trefor. We live in Rhostryfan near Caernarfon. On our last sail we actually capsised for the first time at sea. Thankfully the wind was warm, but the mountains made 'twisters', and one of them knocked us down.
We would love to hear from others who would like to sail, or who come up to North Wales. Next year we want to get better sails, and also make a cover for the boat so it makes into a tent as well.
We have another question about Titty.
Sailing is the best thing ever!
