Hi, When I learnt to sail, I was told that when going about you say "Ready about" to get the crew ready, and at the moment when you turn, you shout "Lee-OH!" or "Lee-HO!".

When I first read S&A I noticed that they simply say "Ready about". And yet in Pauline Marshall's book, it's clear that she used to say "Lee-oh" as well.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Dan
