Yes I agree that Nancy & Peggy go to a (single-sex) boarding school, but they return to Beckfoot in most holidays unlike the Swallows. They would be close enough in age to go to the same school. But John & Roger go to different schools, so I think do Susan & Titty (?).
As someone wrote, Tom Dudgeon is a doctor’s son but goes to a day (grammar?) school unlike the twins and the S, A & Ds. BS is set in term-time, not the long summer holidays or “real life”, but CC is set in the shorter Easter holidays (?)
While the Callums live in London, the Walkers just live “down south” in SA and SD. In WD and SW they are going to live in/near London (?)
