Your friend was a little harsh on Pin Mill I think, we have a number of old,unretorable old wrecks at Heybridge too!
Still it is a nice spot with it's fare share of nice boats, including mine, so next time a TAR or two drop by, say "Hi" to the fat sweaty bloke working on Patience and buy him a beer,,,,,,
