Yes, it is a funny shade of blue, which I'm afraid may be prone to fading. Not my choice: I had suggested a grey-blue (rather like the cover of _Ransome at Sea_) or else a teal blue. The designer had wanted a sort of "Soviet red" with white clouds, supposedly to suggest that Ransome was a Communist -- which he wasn't.

Well, the binding underneath is a nice silver on dark blue (I got my complimentary copies today), and I'm glad to see that the text is well printed on a good off-white paper.
