Actually, surprisingly perhaps to those of us who love the thrill of getting a boat to come alive under control using just a few lines and a sail, it seems there are some Tars who are indifferent to boats.
I don't know whether its because they have never had that feeling or whether it just doesn't appeal or what. It must be similar to a good horse rider's thrill in controlling a large beast with a little physical pressure and that is something which doesn't get my blood moving!
