A variation on a short science fiction "story" which dates (I believe) from the early
1950s called "Mayhem in the Classroom" although you can't read the title until you've read
the story -- president proclaims national easy spelling day and each year one change towards
phonetic spelling of English is adopted. As each one is mentioned it is incorporated; by the
end of the 2-page item you can read the title. Can't remember what it was though.
