Since I also have a life and Alan has given me a little leeway, could I assure people that my aim is to write to everyone whose article I hold in the Mixed Moss folder by 15 January to say either: hey, fantastic, can't wait to publish this one; or, I do like this but would you consider adding a bit here or rewriting a bit there or checking the facts, please; or, look, I'm really really sorry but I just don't think this is publishable as it stands(usually because too much time has elapsed since the article was submitted - at least one article in the file goes back to 1983).
Oh, and the printers have now produced MM, Signals and Outlaw so these should be thudding through your letterboxes before too long. Hurray.
