I have just purchased Pigeon Post in the Jonathan Cape 2000 reprint as its over 30 years since I last read it. I'm somewhat surprised to see the inner covers are illustrated with the chart of the Wildcat's voyage to Crab Island ie from Peter Duck! Surely this is a mistake ? Does anyone know why this is and is it it something repeated in earlier reprints ? Perhaps someone could confirm I should be seeing a map of High Tops, Ling Scar and The Gulch. I feel somewhat cheated!
