Okay, in the spirit of the above postings, today was about 56F and mostly sunny.
This is NOT really normal for this area but it's still more like winter than most of
California. I'm afraid Winter Holiday here would normally be mostly overcast, some
fog, some drizzle, never cold enough for snow. On the other hand, year before last
Susan and I drove inland. 45 minutes from here we were in snow banks deeper than our
automobile. Not impressive - except that it was Memorial Day weekend (weekend of
the TARS AGM up to now). That was at about 3000 feet.
