What this Peter is getting upset about is that bad tempered messages are being posted, and yet again a thread started by me has been hi-jacked by the flame-warriors. Look, the freedom of Ed K or anyone else to research AR in any way they like is a 'given' as far as I am concerned. What I was urging that we should not attach TOO much importance to the minutiae of Ransome's text, as I think this can be a road to nowhere.
However, I respect totally the views of Ed and Adam, while differing from them. Could others please respect their, and my, views, and take their quarrel to another thread?
