If you complain about beef tongue, what about pickled pigs' feet?
Or chicken feet which people eat in my part of the world?
Nothing wrong with beef tongue. Properly simmered for two to three
hours with one or two sliced onions, it is delicious served cold.
Slice it thinly and lay each slice lovingly on fresh homemade buttered
bread. Layer with thinly sliced fresh tomatoes, add French's mustard
(mild) and sprinkle with pepper and salt. This is a repast fit for
the most picky of Great-Aunts.
