The habit cows have of using their tongues as handkerchiefs was exactly the response my eldest daughter gave when challenged on the topic last night. Then I have another daughter who won't eat mushrooms because her older sister told her years ago that the under sides were made of spiders.... It's a wonder we eat anything.
