A TAR of course - Southern Region members may cecall her at the Winter Gathering a couple of years ago. The Ransomes knew her and her family well when they sailed round to Buckler's Hard in the 50s, and AR always wrote warmly of her in his log.
Only a few weeks ago, I was writing her name in a short piece about Buckler's Hard for Despatches - she still lives nearby. Let's hope she'll be back from the Carribbean to join us there for the international AGM
