I found that I couldn't view the Historical Maps on the New site, and that though most entertaining when viewed on the Old site, they were extremely difficult to navigate.

It seems that Sinbad's Creek might have run roughly east from the mill pond, which is anyway about what you were saying and where I'd already put it, so I think I'll leave well enough alone at this point.

Having also been researching Lapwing's provenance, as it were (separate thread,) I'm starting to feel a little of the interest I imagine historians might get from their work.
