Well I would put PM among my favourites. Perhaps the atmosphere of the Dog’s Home in the woods. Perhaps Dick wearing glasses, as I had to wear glasses through school.
But Dorothea can be a fusspot sometimes.
The irony at the end, when after managing to keep out of the way of the GA, they pick her up from the houseboat. And she tells the Amazons that the D’s would be most suitable playmates for them, or some such phrase!
