The term havey-cavey was used by an English character in a book I recently read. I looked in all my dictionaries without luck, but on the internet we found one reference. The internet reference listed it among slang phrases used by "the ton" in the Regency period. I am satisfied as to meaning, but I still want to know how to pronounce it. Can anyone help?
