My bootleg (NSTF) "Swallows & Amazons" color video is long lost among children/grandchildren, but Ronald Fraser was slightly disappointing--
someone like US actor Brian Denehy (or even Dick van Dyke) would have been more the outgoing avuncular type, obviously comfortable with entering into a Children's world-- Virginia McKenna was OK..
