“Ransome Revisited” (1975) and “The Travelling Man” (1976) by Elizabeth Mace are set in a devastated future in which some children find a copy of “Swallowdale” and set out to find if such a world still exists. Has anyone read them? (PS: why SD not SA?)
From “Sequels” which groups children’s books by author and seris; eg for Peter Dawlish 4 Peg-Leg and 7 Dauntless books are listed seperately. I recall reading one book on sailing by Peter Dawlish (real name James Lennox Kerr), “Dauntless finds a Crew” I think; recalled by seeing it (and WD) in a library display recently.
