The weekend of the 28/29 June was that of Ipswich Sail 97 with a wonderful
array of sailing craft moored in the Wet Dock at Ipswich. Nancy Blackett
was there moored, appropriately, alongside a "Peter Duck" class ketch
as well as having a stand manned by members of the Nancy Blackett Trust.
The stand did prettry good business during the weekend with the special
limited edition "Nancy Blackett" video being extremely popular - details of
this to Trust members in the newsletter presently being prepared. Also lots of
friends of Nancy called by.
On Sunday evening she sailed to Woolverstone Marina where she was met by the BBC
and is spending Monday and Tuesday being filmed for a "Bookworm" special.
We hope to keep her at Woolverstone Marina until she returns to Southwold in early September.
