The name Taqui is a shortened form of Taqouhie ( Ta koo hi ) which is an
Armenian girl's name meaning Queen. In both versions the "a" is as "u"
as in "up"; the "i" or
"ie" as in "i" in "it" ; the "qui" in Taqui is pronounced as
"Ki". as in Kitten; and the "hie" in Taqouhie as "hi" as in "hit"
