Humour is never far from the action in AR -- think of most of the scenes involving Roger and many of those with the Death and Glories; Bill's interaction with the crew of the Wild Cat and so on. On a quick reflection I am inclined to agree that humour probably occurs more often in PM than elsewhere -- the GA and the butcher's deliveryman; the GA advising Nancy and Peggy to get to know those nice children who gave her a ride in their boat.... However, I think the all-time funniest scene is in PP, when Dick commisserates with a bewildered Captain Flint about the supposed loss of his pet armadillo, Timothy.
