The Arthur Ransome Club orARC has often been referred to [by me and others] as ARCJ, with the insertion "of Japan" in the title. This is not their name, they were there before "us" at TARS, so we ought to recognise their seniority and not qualify their club geographically as if they were a branch of TARS. To call them ARCJ is like calling TARS the Arthur Ransome Society of England: we wouldn't want that would we?
