Ouch! Sorry, but I was using the word problem in its 'softer' sense. You may be pleased to know that I spend time arguing against those British people who think Americans are ignorant about language, while they do not appreciate that American English is a purer version of English English.
As I work in computer training etc. I get pleasure in telling people that program is not giving into American spelling rules but an entirely different thing from programme!
