The Holly How referred to on Mary Swainson's grave in Coniston churchyard is still in Coniston at Far End. It's now a Youth Hostel. The connection has spread to Norfolk. On the road from Wroxham to Ludham, just past a sharp right-hand bend, on the left is a house with the same name. A few years ago I stopped to ask the owner if he was aware of the Coniston connection, "Yes, the couple who run the Hostel in Coniston are friends of ours". Small world!
