The Australian and New Zealand newsletters, Furthest South and News From Houseboat Bay are now available on the Australian web site at http://www.angelfire.com/ar/swallow
Many of the linked images are a bit large and I'll replace them with smaller images soon.
Contents include a calendar, an account by junior TAR, Jack Hobbs, of a watery weekend,a corroboree at the mouth of the mighty Murray River,a voyage by Melbourne TARS on the square rigged schooner Enterprize (sic),a shanty about the Enterprize by new member Dave Bamford,a profile of a S&A fan in the Azores,an account by TARNZ's Garry Wood of mapping Enclosure Bay and Putiki Bay in his 9-foot dinghy in 1956 (with maps), an essay on The Picts and The Martyrs with a fine drawing of the Dog's Home, recollections of air battles and Girl Guides in Kent during WW2 and the continuing story of the Bittern.
