According to a notice on the Cumbria County Council site an announcement about access to the "High Fells" can be expected by the end of the week.

the British Mountaineering Council site lists a number of roadside crags
and piers that are open mostly in Borrowdale and describes Windemere aas opne. Does anyone know what is happening over in Coniston?
