Trust's Lake District Crisis Fund for every person who visits their website.
It's as simple as that!
Although there are now fewer new foot & mouth cases, the devastating effects
of this crisis are longer-term. The objectives of the Lake District Crisis
Fund are threefold:
To preserve the special Herdwick sheep;
to assist tenant farmers;
and to finance the necessary environmental management to support this
precious landscape.
