As some U.S. TARS know already, when we got the shipment of publications from the U.K. they
were already in sealed transparent packets with the address inserted. Rather than open each one
and put in Signals from TARSUS, we decided to mail SfT separately in its own envelope, which sped
things up somewhat. The sealed packets were stamped and mailed by themselves. So U.S. TARS
will receive two separate mailings, one an envelope with SfT in it; the other the U.K. packet.

There is an indication that in some locations the post office may have treated the transparent
mailers as just another magazine and not delivered them with first class priority regardless of how
they were stamped; if you have received SfT but not the U.K. publications probably you should give
it a bit to see if they show up. If in another week you haven't received the U.K. packet, or if
you didn't get what you should have gotten, please notify Dave Thewlis at
dthewlis@arthur-ransome.org
or Anne LeVeque at maleveque@cs.com

Our apologies for the delay and the mixups; everyone hopes that the mailing house in the U.K. will get
things sorted out and the next mailing will be correct and on time.
