But it is often just a confusion; eg SA (the firework on the houseboat), PP (Timothy the armadillo), and WH (the D’s in the houseboat). The GA is seen as an interfering old Victorian (literally) woman, but doing what she thought was right.
But certainly evil or at least least malevolent: the crew of the Viper (PD). And perhaps Mr Jemmering (GN), George Owden (CC & BS) and his friend Ralph Strachey (BS), and the Hullabaloos (BS also).
