When I was young and reading the series for the first time, I always related to Dick, partly because he wore spectacles!, and partly for his interest in astronomy and powers of observation in general. A couple of evenings ago I watched a documentary about Arthur C Clarke, and
it occurred to me that Dick might have developed in a similar direction - which leads to the interesting fictional possibility that Dick might have taken a leaf out of Dorothea's book, and started writing himself.... Now I wonder what sort of book(s) he might have written? Technical - or like the great ACC technical-imaginative? Any ideas??
