Yes all the above, and you can also use an oil-turp-varnish
mixture to good effect. The recipe is in the link below.
I use it on all the unpainted surfaces and spars of my
"Swallowtail." Use so-called "boiled" linseed oil
which has dryers added, not pure raw linseed oil.
