Well, I agree with all the other comments here -- just let it ride. If you don't make a big deal of it I don't think he will.

I wasn't introduced to Titty and the others until I was about 14, and it certainly raised a question for me. I knew it must have been a nickname (I thought,) and I asked my mother if she knew what "Titty" was short for. Not having read (or indeed, even heard of) any of the books herself, she didn't know the real source, but thought it might have been an abbreviation of "Laetitia." I found that satisfactory, accepted it, and moved on from there.

If your litle bloke asks you about it at any stage, you'll be in a better position to answer than my mum was. I'd just say, though, don't give him the answer until after he's asked the question.
