Sadly kids do get weird ideas, from all sorts of sources. As a teacher of 7/8/9 year olds, I remember vividly the snickers from the nastier members of the class when one of the younger kids said his mother did theraputic massage as a career!
In the S&A sequel I wrote a few years ago, Titty became Taqui in adulthood because, as she said herself upon entering the Navy, 'Imagine what a load of Wrens would have made of Titty!'.
