You think? Adults are often more cowed than children by behaviours and conventions they feel must be kept, thus the fear the GA incurred for Jim & Molly.
I imagined the young Bob as an undesirable, who Jim & Molly were secret friends with. If they had half the gump of Nancy, I think they might have escaped every so often, and climbing the Matterhorn was one of those times.
