OK I've been goaded into action. The Wayfarer is a good boat to sail single handed as its so stable. I tie the jib sheets together to make a continuous loop across the boat so that it can't fall down to leeward in a gust and cause "problems". Sit level with the thwart upwind, recline on the floor downwind and enjoy. I haven't tried single handed with the spinaker yet.
Off to Ullswater tomorrow in self same boat, so if you see one upside down on that lake you will know what happened. Are there any AR refs to Ullswater?
