I've been trying (without success) to find a copy of "Farthest North" for some time.
Recently I found a book titled "Nansen in the Frozen North: The FRAM
Expedition" by one S.L. Berens, Cand. Phil., published by AJ Holman, Philadelphia,
1897. It purports to be a history of Artic explorations up to Nansen's
time together with a history of the FRAM expedition. It seems to have sections
from Nansen's diary but I can't tell whether it is extracts from "Farthest North"
or other material. Has anybody else come across this book? Any opinions about it?
