As I noted in one of my messages which was deleted, it will be people such as the Altounyans who will really make the difference in the future of our world; people who go into difficult situations to give of themselves to the ordinary people in these countries in peace and love.

There are many philosophical lessons we can learn from the writings of Arthur Ransome, and most other children's books. We need to reflect and analyse just what qualities are being presented through these writings and how we can make these qualities manifest in our lives. A good children's book has a message, no matter how subtile it is, on how to exist in the world. This is why education, an education that fosters inquiring minds, is so important; and is so apparent in Mr. Ransome's writing. It has been, is, and will be slow, but look at how much progress has been made in the past 50 years!

This organization, and others like it, is much more important than we realize.

Thank you, EA
