Fwiw, Katherine Harper in the /C. S. Lewis Readers Encyclopedia/ says Cyril, Anthea et al from the Amulet series "reemerge, almost unchanged, as Peter, Susan", et al.

She also says Nesbit had a story "The Aunt and Amabel" with a wardrobe which opens into a magical world!

I read an interesting review of E. Nesbit's Bastable family series ( "New Treasurer Seekers" "The Woodbegoods" if I have their names right) which pointed out the similarities between the Bastable children and the Swallows. The review was by Joan Aiken
