I've commented before about my childhood disappoinment with the TV version of S&A, but something has just occured to me - my favourite AR is WH, one of my other favourite novels is Peter Hoeg's Miss Smilla's Feeling For Snow. Two books about winter and the latter also badly filmed to my view of things!
