Reading WH last night I came across a scribbled amendment in the margin done by my father about 20 years ago.
On the first page of one of the chapters (sorry I didn't note which) the doctor gives them advice for the treatment of frostbite.
The advice is to rub the affected area with snow. My fathers ammendment reads "Wrong! Just rub gently to restoer circulation".
has anyone else spotted this? Is my Dad correct?
