A September issue of Furthest South, a newsletter by Australian Tars is now available at http://www.angelfire.com/ar/swallow
This issue is supplementary to the usual quarterly issues of February, May, August and November.
The November 2001 issue won't appear until late November.
It will probably contain News From Houseboat Bay by Des Kelsall for TARNZ, new Zealand Tars.
September Furthest south contains a semaphore postcard puzzle for juniors, a calendar of Australian events and corroborees, reports on two Matterhorn anniversary climbs in Victoria and New Souith Wales, news from a S&A fan in The Azores, a story about building a dinghy like Swallow, complete with keel, Childhood notes from a very un-Ransome heroine, continuation of the Bittern story and pictorial wherry nostalgia from Roger Seccombe.
