Can't believe it! Today I obtained two first edition ARs, Winter Holiday and Secret Water, for £25 each. No dust covers of course but then, I bought them for love.
Also an interesting 1953 edition of S&A with a dust cover new to me. The book was advertised as a 'cheap edition' and 'only ever to be published this one time'.
So now I have my real English souvenirs to take home & treasure.
Ain't life grand!!
