Allan, that's the Sircam worm. Delete the message without opening the attachment. (And from your Deleted folder too.)

The text is a giveaway. So is the fact that the filename has two extensions, .zip and then .pif (Some people turn off the Show Filename Extensions option, so miss out on that clue. Any file with a double extension should be deleted without execution.)

Here are a couple of sites that might help with some identification/removal questions --

Sircam -- http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM_SIRCAM.A

BadTransB -- http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/

Love Bug -- http://site.yahoo.com/speedlane2000/

HouseCall -- free online scanning and clean/delete -- http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

Norton, McAfee, and others have on-line identification, but no removal that I'm aware of (unless you purchase their software.)

AVG free software that will apparently monitor incoming email can be downloaded from -- www.grisoft.com/html/us_downl.html
