Swallow does appear in Missee Lee and Peter Duck as
though she was their property; but both are “fantasy”.
In Pigeon Post the Walkers are camping at Holly Howe and
(from memory) they don’t have the use of Swallow until
their parents (or Mother?) arrives at the Jacksons.
