That film again, not quite

At risk of starting something, as a neophyte to TARS, I have added my two bits to the film string. However the thought just struck me. WD and SW were always favourites of mine.A few years ago I went to see the RSC's perfomance of Lord of the Flies, very good too.
Either of the above would be good basis for plays/performance or the small screen.
Small casts and the intense atmosphere would lend them selve to the small screen or modern stage performance.
As I said just a thought! Has anyone seen a play based on any AR book?
