Well, the fact that they are collectively called "The Swallows" implies they come from the south every summer and go back at the end of the summer...

And since African swallows are non-migratory, I assume that they are European, even though they have the capability of carrying a coconut strung between them.

The other answer is that they come from "The English Middle Class".
